Using Virtual Tours

Students need access to as many experiences as possible.  As Marzano suggests in his book Building Background Knowledge, it is crucial that students are exposed to the world around them.  This is how valuable experiences are gained that add to their frames of reference and build vocabulary that is essential for academic success.  Here are some suggested websites that will help in that cause.  Many of these allow various degrees of interaction from video feeds to teacher pages.  If you find other web links, please let me know.  I will continue to add more to this.  Return often.  Explore and benefit.
